Scanning a barcode, a label or your plate

## Barcode

Tap Barcode and point at the code. We look it up in Open Food Facts, sending only the number. If we don't have the product, you can photograph its label, create the food by hand or search by name.

## Nutrition label

Photograph the label reads the nutrition facts table on your phone — the image never leaves it. Check the values it found, give the food a name and it's saved to My foods.

## Meal photo

Tap Photo and frame the whole plate from above, or choose a photo from your gallery. Minthra estimates what's on it and how much, and shows how confident it is. Nothing reaches your diary until you check it: change portions, swap or remove foods, add what it missed, then add it to the meal.

It's an estimate, so look at it before you log it. You can analyze up to 30 photos a day. The photo is analyzed and discarded — it is never stored.
